This is Dozer, who is a 4 yr old, 48 lb pointer/ American Bulldog mix. He was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation in December in Pasco County Sleepy Hollow. He is very shy and takes time to warm up to new people because of his past, but with the love and patience of his foster family, he has made amazing progress. Hes very social and affectionate with them, gets along great with other dogs and cats and will be a loyal best friend to the family who adopts him. His new family will need to be understanding of his past, go slow and be gentle, but all of the effort is worthwhile with this awesome dog! Dozer is housebroken, and has all his shots, has been microchipped and neutered. He had heartworms, but was successfully treated and is ready to start his new life. A fenced yard will be required for his adoption. Dozer is good with cats and children who are over 10. He is currently living with a foster family.
